Pippa Mann's pink campaign raises almost $13,000

INDIANAPOLIS - Pippa Mann's fundraising campaign throughout May raised almost $13,000 for the Susan G. Komen organization.

A public relations representative with the campaign said the $12,783.75 came from all over the U.S., and even from the U.K., where Mann is from.

Mann drove the No. 63 for Dale Coyne Racing in the Indy 500. Her car, helmet and firesuit were pink as part of the campaign.

For every lap that Mann turned at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May, fans and supporters could pledge an amount, with all donations going to the Komen organization.

Few specific details have been released, but campaign organizers said they're hoping to bring the pink campaign back to IMS in 2015.
