INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis 500, like many other large events, undoubtedly will have parking issues.
The difference between Sunday's race and other events is the amount of people. Expect more than 350,000 people at the race, meaning all 350,000 people need a way to get there.

If you're taking a bus to the race, the drop off/pick up point is near 16th and Polco streets. The Taxi and Uber service drop off/pick up point is near 10th and Polco streets.
Anybody riding a bike can park in a lot behind the Daredevil Brewery on Main Street. A special escort will take the bikers from City Market to the lot at 9:30 a.m.

Where you CAN park:
The following schools and organizations still have space available, as of Friday morning:
- Speedway HS, nearly 800 spots available. Money goes to Band/athletic programs.
- Speedway Junior HS, nearly 80 spots available. Money goes to Band/athletic programs
- Speedway Redevelopment Commission, call 317-442-2639 to reserve spot.
- Speedway Lions Club, email vnoblet@tabco.com to reserve your spot
- Speedway Trails Association, roughly 350 spots. Entrance is at Winton and Crawfordsville. Prices start at $50 going down to $30 depending on how far away you get. Money goes to the Trails Association.

Additional parking has been allocated for Friday, May 27 - Sunday, May 29, via LAZ Parking located at 3725 W. 30th St. Click here for more information. Pricing as follows:
- Daily General Admission Parking – $60/car
- Daily VIP Parking – $100/car (near entry/exit)
- 3–Day general Parking – $150/car
- RV Overnight (noon–noon) – $250
- RV Day Parking – $200
Also, try local resident lot or yard parking or streets farther from IMS.
Where you CAN'T park:
Parking in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is sold out, including the infield and all red, orange, and green lots. If you do have a pass, look to the “Know Your Zone” map to find the streets closest to your lot and the lot closest to your seats.
