Racing legends, rookies hope to make 500 history

INDIANAPOLIS -- The 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 means a lot of things for a lot of different people.

For Team Penske owner Roger Penske -- the winningest owner in 500 history -- the race marks 50 years in auto racing. For the five rookies participating for the first time, it's a chance to add their names to the history books.

Roger Penske aiming to rewrite history books, again

As the Indianapolis 500 celebrates its 100th anniversary, team owner Roger Penske is celebrating an anniversary of his own. The IMS Museum is featuring a "50 Years of Penske" exhibit about the winningest team owner in 500 history.
