Two Indiana University football players were arrested over the weekend for allegedly vandalizing a house. Troy Grosfield
Bloomington police were called to a residence in the 1400 block of North Lincoln Street at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday on the report of a disturbance.
Police said that up to 25 people they believed to be associated with the football team were at a home trying to kick in the door while the residents inside were trying to prevent entry. Authorities said a pumpkin was thrown through a window of the residence and a lawn chair was also thrown against the house.
Officers said the individuals fled when they approached, but two were caught.

Troy J. Grosfield, 20, a junior safety from Denver faces the same charges, in addition to an illegal consumption charge after police said the odor of alcohol was detected on his breath.
The IU department released a statement saying, "Coach Dinardo is aware of the situation and it is being handled internally."
Both players were booked into the Monroe County Jail.
