INDIANAPOLIS -- More than 300 people have the biggest job interview of their lives Tuesday.

The NFL Combine, where football players from all over the country come to Indianapolis to perform drills and workouts in front of all 32 NFL teams, begins this week.

The combine officially begins Wednesday at noon with press conferences.

Players begin arriving Tuesday morning and the first workouts begin on Friday with running backs, offensive linemen and special teamers.

The combine is a boost for the city after an agreement was reached to keep the combine here until 2020.

The decision was up in the air for a brief period when the owner of the St. Louis Rams pulled the team from St. Louis and also tried to pull the combine from Indianapolis.

The agreement between the NFL and Indianapolis has been in the works since 2014, but the agreement was just finalized recently.

Indy has hosted the event for nearly 30 years.

If you're interested in watching the NFL Combine, Lucas Oil Stadium is off-limits to fans, but NFL Network is streaming the entire week's worth of workouts.
