Opening Day at Victory Field for the Indianapolis Indians

INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Indians baseball fans geared up for Opening Day at Victory Field Thursday.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with Gov. Mike Pence and Mayor Greg Ballard throwing first pitches at 7:05 p.m.

Indians spokeswoman Amanda Bray said that if the temperature is less than 60 degrees, everyone in attendance will get a free ticket to another home game in April.

Fans will also enjoy a post-game fireworks show and the first 2500 fans will receive a free Indians schedule magnet.

All 72 home games will also be broadcast on HTSN.
