Pacers: Danny Granger out for rest of season with knee injury

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger will sit out the rest of the team's season, the team announced Thursday.

Granger needs surgery on his left knee, after all other treatment options have failed.

Granger received treatment in October for patellar tendinosis, but continued soreness has kept him out of the game.

The Pacers said they expect Granger will be ready for training camp.
