INDIANAPOLIS – The next time you head to Victory Field for the Indianapolis Indians' 21st season, you’ll see and hear some changes in the ballpark.

The field will be upgraded with new monitor displays, state-of-the-art sound systems and enhanced video production capabilities, according to Indians General Manager Randy Lewandowski.

“The fan experience and creating positive lasting memories has long been a focus for our organization,” said Lewandowski. “As we prepare Victory Field for the future, we will continue to consider our fans first and foremost.  These upgrades are just the beginning of how we plan to help the next generation of Indians fans create wonderful memories of their own.”

A new outfield video board will triple the size of its current board with a 35’ x 50’ display. Two 135’ boards will show in-game scoring, game information, out-of-town scores, and provide additional advertising space.

The new audio system will provide a clearer sound throughout the park and Indians baseball will be brought in high-definition for the first time in 2017.

The Indians will host their 2017 home-opener on April 6, at 7:05 p.m. Season tickets are available now.
