INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Indianapolis Greyhounds claimed their second consecutive perfect run through the Great Lakes Valley Conference Saturday night with a 21-14 win over Truman State University.
A touchdown by senior Klay Fiechter sealed the victory after a 10-play, 57-yard drive by the Greyhounds.
Truman State scored on their opening drive, taking an early lead before UIndy got on the board. The teams went into halftime tied 7-7.
UIndy grabbed the lead and the victory with two fourth quarter touchdowns; taking a risky penalty after a 44-yard field goal by kicker Scott Miller, the Greyhounds eventually drove it in to Fiechter with 1:03 left for the win.
The Greyhounds will find out their post-season schedule Sunday, when the NCAA D-II Football selection show airs on NCAA.com at 5 p.m.
