Frigid Temps Invade On Heels Of Snow

Temps To Go Below Zero Later This Week

Snow is again in the forecast as Arctic air invades Indiana over the next few days, bringing a severe cold snap through the end of the work week.

A wind chill watch is in effect from late Wednesday through Friday afternoon. Light snow will accompany brisk northwest breezes on Wednesday. Up to 2 inches of snow could fall in the Indianapolis area, with higher snow totals in northern Indiana.

Wind chills could reach 20 below zero in central Indiana from Wednesday through Friday as winds howl.

In the Indianapolis area, high temperatures are expected in the lower 20s on Wednesday.

The bottom drops out on Thursday, with high temperatures only expected in the low single digits.

Temperatures are expected to go below zero on Friday morning.
