Looking Kind Of Average
Kevin's Weather Blog
As I mentioned yesterday, cold Canadian air is pouring into the state on the jet stream. However, a change is in the air!
The flow of air over the United States will become more west-to-east. In the meteorological world, we call that a zonal flow. With the cold air trapped north of the border, our temperatures will approach average by early next week.
Even average temperatures will seem warm after our recent cold snap. Average high temperatures this time of year are around 70 degrees.
