Under Pressure?
Kevin's Weather Blog
Feel under pressure? You should.
Meteorological high pressure is over Indiana.
A big blue "H" will appear on the weather map today. As a result, a lot of sunshine will appear in the sky.
Air sinks around high pressure. Sinking air inhibits cloud formation.
This next sentence is to feed the meteorologist in you. Sinking air warms by compression allowing it to hold more moisture.
So, the next few days will be sunny.
Our warming trend will continue as temperatures climb into the 70s. An 80 degree high temperature is not out of the question Thursday or Friday.
