INDIANAPOLIS -- Due to the unlikely and unbelievable Cubs game last night, this will be a short but thoughtful entry.
Wind is the movement of air.
Well, the air was moving yesterday! The peak wind gust was 41 mph.
The strong northwest wind brought in much cooler air.
Wind direction is given as the direction from which the wind is blowing. A northwest wind is blowing from the northwest to southeast.
