Storms Packing Large Hail, Strong Winds Threaten Indiana

A cold front will swoop through Indiana on Wednesday, bringing a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms to all but the extreme northwestern part of the state.Southerly winds and sunshine will boost temperatures into the mid-70s in advance of the cold front, providing fuel for thunderstorms that are expected to develop during the afternoon and evening.

The thunderstorms are expected to intensify as the near central Indiana. Strong winds and large hail are the primary threat from the storms as the push southeastward during the evening hours.
