Dry today - Severe weather threat tomorrow

Goodbye rain, after 5 consecutive days of rain we finally dry out today.  It has been a very wet March for us and more rain is on the way for tomorrow.

Skies will be cloudy this morning before giving way to some sunshine this afternoon.  We won’t completely get rid of the clouds but the afternoon should be a little brighter with temperatures today topping off right around 60 degrees.

While tomorrow is not a washout, you will want to have the umbrella handy.  You’ll need to have to keep an eye out for the potential of storms as well tomorrow evening.

The Storm Prediction Center has a good portion of the southern half of the state under the “slight risk”.

As these storms come through wind and hail would be the two main threats.  The storm threat should end Thursday evening  but the showers will stick around into much of Friday as well.  Rainfall totals by Friday evening could be over an inch in some locations.

As we enter the weekend and the month of April dry weather returns.   Look for partly cloudy skies both Saturday and Sunday and temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60.
