A beautiful fall-like forecast in store for us the next few days with lots of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Start making outdoor plans if you can.
Skies today will be mostly sunny with high temperatures climbing into the mid-70s. The wind will be light as well. If you have plans for high school football this evening once the sun sets it will cool off pretty quick. Other than that we are in great shape.
Both days this weekend will be sunny with temperatures in the low 70s. So we will be running about ten degrees below normal but with the sunshine we can’t complain all that much. Low temperatures over the weekend will be in the 40s & 50s so plan accordingly if you are going to be out late.
As for Irma, it is likely to make landfall in Florida late Saturday or early Sunday as a category 4 or 5 storm. We are all waiting for the storm to turn north to see where exactly it make landfall. No matter where it lands it will be devastating for Florida. Some of the remnants could reach us on Tuesday and Wednesday with showers, some wind and clouds. That forecast though will be changeable depending on the exact track.
