INDIANAPOLIS - If you thought central Indiana was done with snow, think again.
Accumulating snow is back in the forecast for this weekend.
A low-pressure system will track across the Ohio Valley on Sunday, with a swath of snow expected north of the low.
StormTeam 6 meteorologist Ashley Brown said the precipitation is expected to begin after noon on Sunday and that it will pile up in some areas.
Accumulations of 3-5 inches of snow are possible, primarily south and southeast of Indianapolis and mainly on grassy areas.
"Snow totals may be lower because the storm system is not moving in until late Sunday and will encounter dry air as it moves in," Brown said.
Storm totals are likely to fluctuate, depending on the track of the storm system.
High temperatures are expected to be in the 30s across the region, down from temps in the 40s on Friday and Saturday.
Snow showers will linger in the Indiana forecast on Monday.
