Light accumulating snow will develop today and last into the evening hours across Central Indiana. Most people will see around and inch of accumulation with a few area to the north and east in the 1"-2" range. The evening commute could be slick and the snow should taper off around midnight.
The other aspect of this system will be the arcitc air that will the snow. Temperatures will tumble once the front passes as the wind really starts to pick up. Gusts will be over 30 mph as the wind picks and low temperatures will drop into the teens. Windchill values will range from about zero to 5 degrees. The rest of the weekend will be dry with highs only in the 20s.
