Weather: Highs in 30s, weak snow showers possible later

INDIANAPOLIS - Happy Thanksgiving Eve. Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day today with some peeks of sunshine from time to time.

Look for high temperatures to once again remain well below normal topping off in the upper 30s and low 40s across the area. The warmer temperatures will be the farther south you go.

Late tonight and early Thursday morning there will be a very weak clipper system that will slide south of the area. It may produce a few isolated snow showers but we are not expecting any accumulation beyond a coating in some spots.

It will be a chilly Thanksgiving across the area with highs only in the 30s and mostly cloudy skies. Don’t be surprised if you see a flurry or two during the day, but overall it will be just a cloudy and cold day.

For all you early shoppers on Black Friday, temperatures will be around 20 degrees in the morning and then warming into the mid to upper 30s in the afternoon. For the weekend a nice and mild push of air arrives with highs in the mid-50s to around 60 degrees on Sunday.
