It is going another great day across the area with mostly sunny skies, low humidity and a high temperature of 80 degrees. Heading into the weekend things get a little more unsettled.
The weekend won't be a washout but we will have several chances of thunderstorms. The storms will come in waves and will have the potential to be severe with wind being the main threats.
The first wave comes Saturday morning. The next late Saturday and into Sunday. Temperatures will also be a lot warmer this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Once we get into next week much cooler air will work in. In fact, highs on Tuesday will struggle to get to 70 degrees in any areas.
