INDIANAPOLIS - A real taste of spring is heading into central Indiana. It gets started tonight. A SW wind around 10 mph will help to level off overnight temperatures in the mid 30s.
Partly cloudy skies and a SW wind around 15-20 mph will push temperatures near 60 Monday afternoon.
Tuesday will again bring a spring preview, with highs in the lower 60s.
By Tuesday night, we get a reminder winter isn't over just yet. Rain moves in overnight. Cold air will spill in early Wednesday to switch the rain over to snow. It's still early, but a band of 2"-4" of snow looks possible across the northern half of Indiana. Some of the snow is likely to melt on contact, with much warmer temperatures starting the week.
