INDIANAPOLIS - Welcome to the winter season and a warming trend!
As clouds continue to thicken tonight, low temperatures should hold in the upper 20s to near 30.
We’re back to rather gray skies Monday. A spotty shower is possible by afternoon, but best rain chances look to hold off until the evening and Monday night. It’s all rain too, as temperatures warm into the upper 40s and hold in the mid 40s into Tuesday morning.
Damp, mild and breezy sums up our Tuesday forecast. You’ll want to keep the umbrella handy, as occasional rain showers move through. A breezy SSW wind will help boost temperatures into the mid 50s.
Christmas Eve brings weather you need to be aware of. We’ll start off with rain and temperatures in the lower 40s. As colder air moves in and our wind picks up, a switch to light snow is expected. Exactly when that change takes place is still in question. Thus, so is the amount of snow we’ll see. As of now, it still appears some light accumulation is possible in time for Christmas.
