PILGER, Neb. - When Farmers Co-Op recovered its computers from the rubble after a tornado tore through Pilger, Nebraska, no one expected to find anything that worked.
Hard drives that had security camera footage on them made it through the storm and showed a chaotic view from inside the twister the moment it hit.
The EF-4 tornado, with winds of up to 200 mph, struck nearly one month ago.
The video shows a view from different security cameras. One of them captured sparks from snapping electrical lines just feet from propane tanks that were leaking fuel.
Another shot captures a bolt of lightning in the middle of the storm.
Workers rode out the storm inside a vault. When they came out, they were surrounded by rubble.
