INDIANAPOLIS - One man is dead and another man was hospitalized after a shooting early Saturday on the city's east side.
The shooting was reported about 4 a.m. near 25th and Station streets when a fight at the Capital Punishment Motorcycle Club spilled into the street, Indianapolis Metro Police Department officers said.
When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive man who had been shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man was also injured and rushed to Eskenazi Health Hospital in serious condition.
IMPD officers brought an IndyGo bus to the scene to transport all of the witnesses for questioning and several police officers were dispatched to contain the crowd.
The deceased victim has been identified as 47-year-old Trent Wilson of Indianapolis. The identity of the second shooting victim has not yet been released.
