INDIANAPOLIS - A man was shot and killed on the north side Sunday during an apparent robbery attempt, IMPD said.
Sometime after 1 p.m. Sunday, three men entered a home on the 3100 block of North College Avenue apparently intending to rob it, according to IMPD.
Once inside the home, the men exchanged gunfire with the homeowner. During the exchange, one of the alleged robbers was struck and killed. The other two alleged robbers fled the scene and were still at-large as of 2:30 p.m.
Police did not immediately release the name of the alleged robber who was killed or the condition of the homeowner.
