INDIANAPOLIS - A missing Indianapolis teen was found safe Sunday night.
Officials said Michael Williams, 16, was last seen leaving his guardian's home near 36th Street and Guilford Avenue at 5 p.m. Sunday on the near-north side. He is described as 6 feet 3 inches, 135 pounds, and was last wearing blue jeans and a brown hoodie.
Family members feared for his safety because Williams is a high-functioning autistic, according to IFD, and should not be approached if spotted, as that may scare him.
Officials postponed the search for Williams around 7 p.m. Sunday after losing daylight, but they asked the community to keep an eye out for him.Officials said he returned home about 10:30 p.m.
