Double shooting leaves two Indianapolis men in critical condition

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a double shooting Saturday evening on the city's south side involving two young men.
IMPD dispatchers tell RTV6 crews were dispatched just after 9:30 p.m. to respond to two people with gunshot wounds in the 2800 block of Dietz Street. That's near East Troy Avenue.
Officers said when they arrived on the scene, they found Shawn Hall, 21, and William Crockett, 20, both of Indianapolis, with gunshot wounds in the driveway of 2824 S. Dietz St.
IMPD said Hall had a gunshot wound to the head and Crockett had a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The two men were transported to Wishard Hospital in critical condition.
IMPD said this is an ongoing investigation.
