Police: Driver may have had medical incident

SULLIVAN, Ind. - A Sullivan, Ind., man died Saturday night after his car left the roadway on State Road 46.

Vigo County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle crash on State Road 46 near Lama Road. They arrived to find that a 1999 Mazda had left the roadway and crashed into a group of trees.

The male driver, identified as Fred L. Peters, 77, of Sullivan, was found unresponsive and in cardiac arrest.
