Cooler temps settle in central Ind. after storms

INDIANAPOLIS - All severe thunderstorm and tornado watches were dropped just after 3 a.m. Thursday and the threat of severe weather in central Indiana is over.

Rain will continue to be fairly steady through the morning commute, especially in eastern Indiana.

During the Thursday morning commute, drivers were advised to look out for localized flooding.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible off and on throughout the day with cooler air working its way in late Thursday. 

Rain will linger into the day on Thursday as temperatures tumble. Temps will begin warming up again over the weekend.

Large hail fell in several counties along and north of the Interstate 70 corridor on Wednesday, but no serious damage was reported.
