INDIANAPOLIS - A tornado watch was canceled for all of central Indiana as the threat of severe storms fizzled Thursday night.
StormTeam 6 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Gregory said the moderate risk of severe storms in most of Indiana on Thursday was downgraded to a slight risk.

Storms moved into the western part of the state before noon, and there were a few severe thunderstorm warnings, but the storms weakened and stalled as they approached central Indiana.
After the line of storms passes, the severe weather threat will end and much cooler weather will settle into Indiana.
