INDIANAPOLIS - Most of us are getting off to a dry start in July. Rain chances return over the next couple of days, but things are looking up for the holiday weekend!
Clouds this evening may lead to a spotty shower or two, with the best chance along and south of I-70, but most areas should stay dry. Comfortable temperatures in the 70s fall back into the lower 60s tonight.
We keep the clouds around for our Thursday and add in the chance for showers and a few storms. The best chance for rain comes along and SW of I-74, or SW of a Crawfordsville-Indy-Greensburg line. Meanwhile, there’s little chance of needing the umbrella in Kokomo, Logansport and Muncie. Highs once again come in below average, with afternoon numbers in the mid to upper 70s.
A quick look at the holiday weekend starts with a 30% chance of a shower or storm Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday bring mainly dry weather with highs in the low to mid 80s.
