GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Tucked away in a little Greenwood restaurant you'll find some of the best burgers Indiana has to offer.
Between the Bun serves up backyard burgers with crazy combinations, unique flavors and all the twists you won't believe until you try them.
Owner Scott Sims says he always imagined owning a restaurant - and those dreams came to life about five years ago when he opened Between the Bun in a more than 100-year-old house on Madison Avenue in Greenwood.
"This came from grilling in my backyard," said Sims. "People were like, 'man, you need to sell your stuff.'"
From the 3 Mac Daddy Burger to the Mac and Cheese Bacon Bit and, Pina Colada Burger, and of course the Hawaii 5-0, Sims grills up anything he can dream up.
"I'm always thinking - you know - when I'm driving, I'm thinking. When I'm watching TV, I'm thinking," said Sims. "The Carmel Apple - I was really impressed with myself."
If you're looking for a tasty adventure, try something you've never tried and step outside the box - or bun - and visit Between the Bun in Greenwood.
