INDIANAPOLIS – Being surrounded by hundreds of varieties of wine can be intimidating when you’re not sure which to choose, but a new Broad Ripple shop aims to change the wine experience.

The Wine Shop by Vine & Table will not only offer hundreds of wine selections – as most beverage stores do – they teach weekly education classes, hold frequent tastings and allow customers to purchase wine online (with free delivery).

The new 1,900 square-foot location will open Monday at 5897 N. College Avenue and is an extension of the Carmel-based Vine & Table.

“It will be very experiential with our emphasis on classroom education, video lessons, and sampling,” said Wine Director, Jim Gooley. “We can’t wait to bring these services to this wine community. People want to learn more about their favorites and discover the new, so we’re here for them with weekly tastings, educational experiences, and private consultations. Our focus on personalization and education is what makes this unique to the city.”

Customers will also have access to more than 8,000 wines available through special orders.
