DELPHI — It's been nearly a week since 4-year-old Owen Jones was swept away in a Delphi creek and crews are still searching for him.

Indiana Department of Natural Resources Lt. Dan Dulin says Jones was seen entering Deer Creek at Riley Park around 6 p.m. May 23 and was swept away by the strong current.

Conservation officers have enlisted the help of multiple agencies and have used drones, boats, sonar and airboats to search the creek, but they have not been able to locate Jones.

Recent rains and Tuesday's storms have kept crews from actively searching much of the week.
