INDIANAPOLIS -- Following posts by neighbors on Nextdoor, and questions from Call 6 Investigates, crews were called to the governor's mansion Friday night to deal with overgrowth blocking a traffic light.

A tipster pointed Call 6 to a post made on May 20 saying he'd contacted the Mayor's Action Center about vegetation blocking the traffic light at 46th and Meridian streets.

On Friday, Call 6 Investigates made calls to the governor's office and the Indianapolis Department of Public Works about the overgrowth.

There was initial confusion on who actually owned the property the trees are on.

Following our calls, DPW crews were dispatched to fix the issue so the light can be seen properly.
