INDIANAPOLIS -- Vice President Mike Pence will travel to Indianapolis after an event in Elkhart, Indiana Thursday, according to Call 6 Investigates.

Pence and President Donald Trump will be in Elkhart, Indiana Thursday evening for a campaign rally, but Pence will travel to Indy afterward. He will stay in Indianapolis through Friday afternoon, Call 6 has learned.

Sources tell Call 6 he has a number of private meetings scheduled.

The event in Elkhart was moved from South Bend, "to accommodate more Hoosiers at the rally," according to a press release from the Trump campaign.

The event will "celebrate the booming economy that's helping families throughout Indiana."

The rally will be held Thursday, May 10, at the North Side Gymnasium, at North Side Middle School, 300 Lawrence Street, in Elkhart.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and the event will begin at 7 p.m.
