INDIANAPOLIS — The need for food is great because of COVID-19 and Gleaners Food Bank aims to meet it this Friday and Saturday.

The Gleaners CARE Mobile Food Pantry will be at Ivy Tech Community College, 2535 North Capitol, on the Indianapolis north side Friday from noon to 4 p.m. The time has been moved up to allow clients and staff to get home before the curfew begins. Enter Ivy Tech at Capitol and West 27th Street.

On Saturday, the mobile distribution shifts to John Marshall High School, 10101 East 38th Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Clients will receive a 50 lb. box of fresh fruits and vegetables, cooked meats (pork, chicken and bacon), milk, and assorted cheeses.
