DELPHI, Ind. -- If you see supposed "sketches" of a Delphi suspect on your Facebook pages, don't share them -- they haven't been verified by the Indiana State Police.

Instead, share the photo below of the man police consider to be a suspect in the killing of teenagers Abigail Williams and Liberty German.

The girls were dropped off to go hiking near the Monon High Bridge in Delphi last Monday. Their bodies were found the next day less than a mile from that bridge.

On Feb. 15, police released a photo of a person seen on the Delphi Historic Trail. It depicts a white man wearing blue jeans, a blue coat/jacket, and a hoodie.

Initially, the man was someone police wanted to speak with to gain information on the investigation, but now he is being called a suspect by authorities.

Indiana State Police said Saturday, "During the course of the investigation, preliminary evidence has led investigators to believe the person, in the distributed photo, is suspected of having participated in the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German."

Sgt. Tony Slocum said the person pictured is “our suspect we are considering at this time" and police would like to arrest him.

Police plan to have a press conference Wednesday morning to give updates on the case.

If you have any information on this case, call the Delphi Murder Tip Line at 844-459-5786.
