MUNCIE — A person was shot and injured after a shooting in Muncie on Wednesday night, according to Muncie Police Department officials.
Around 8:15 p.m. officers were dispatched near the area of East Highland and North Granville Avenue where they located the shooting victim.
Police say the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives were seen looking at one damaged car on the road inside the crime scene, but it is unknown at this time if it is connected to the incident.
Muncie Police Department officials say this remains an ongoing investigation.
