Columbus Police: Man arrested after threatening gas station customers with chainsaw

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- A Columbus man was arrested Friday after he threatened gas station customers with a chainsaw, police said.

Police were called to the Circle K gas station at 1644 Central Ave., around 8:40 p.m.

According to witnesses, a man was threatening gas station customers with a chainsaw. The man then started the chainsaw and began walking toward an employee while revving the chainsaw, police say.

Ian Walker, 32, of Columbus, was arrested when police found him in the parking lot.

He faces charges of disorderly conduct and intimidation with a deadly weapon.
