Police seeking information on Kokomo man accused of home improvement fraud

KOKOMO — A man who has been wanted for Home Improvement Fraud in three cases since June was arrested on Tuesday, according to the Kokomo Police Department.

In June KPD received three reports by elderly victim of home improvement fraud against 59-year-old Dennis Sanders — a Level 5 Felony and Theft, a Level 6 Felony.

All three victims say they hired and paid Ace Handyman and Construction to do work at their residences, but it was never completed.

Sanders was arrested at approximately 9:08 a.m. on Tuesday by police in Kokomo without incident.

The cases all remain under investigation and police are asking anyone with information on Ace Handyman and Construction to contact Detective Michael Banush at 765-456-7278 or the Kokomo Police Department Hotline at 765-456-7017.
