INDIANAPOLS – If you’re not registered to vote in the state of Indiana, it’s an easy process to get started.
First, go to indianavoters.com and click “Register to Vote.”
In order to register, you must first meet a few requirements:
- Have a valid Indiana driver’s license or state ID card
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be at least 18 years old before the election
- Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the election
- Not currently imprisoned after being convicted of a crime
When you register, you’ll need to input your name, birthday, address and a few more pieces of information.
The deadline for registering for the general election is Oct. 5.
