INDIANAPOLIS — The historic Red for Ed rally demonstrated by teachers on Tuesday really made an impact on certain businesses in Indianapolis.
Some businesses in Franklin Township wanted to help a few local schools, but they were secretive about what they were up to.
Fancher Mortgage and The Halcomb Group Realty Company sent out surveys to Franklin Township teachers asking them what they needed for their classrooms.
What they didn't tell the teachers was that once a month, the businesses were going to surprise one teacher by giving them what was on their wishlist.
