KOKOMO — A group of people in Howard County is going above and beyond to make sure as many people as possible have a set of wheels that are safe and reliable.
This is not your regular garage. These car enthusiasts in Kokomo are behind acts of love and charity at "God's Garage."
Volunteers on behalf of Crossroads Community Church help widows, single moms, and veterans who are unable to afford vehicle repairs.
Since 2018, volunteers have helped with 218 repairs and 1,000 air and fluid checks. The group recently donated a building and received a $41,000 grant to continue their ministry.
