INDIANAPOLIS — IT workers are life-savers when you have no idea how to fix your computer and some college students are learning how to become more efficient in information and technology to get classroom to career ready.

IUPUI's IDEW program through the school of informatics and computing equips students with the life skills they need to succeed after graduation.

Eight schools across the area take part in the IDEW initiative. Students from those schools learn everything from IT, such as how to create apps, games and websites. They also learn to code.
