INDIANAPOLIS — Students at the Mckenzie Center in Indianapolis are learning how to get into the fashion world through merchandising.

The program teaches students how to connect with shoppers through business techniques. Students also learn their own sense of style along the way.

Students who take part in the program can then take their sense of fashion and build displays for visual merchandising, which is used to attract customers into stores. They focus on selling, pricing, retail cycles and fashion design.

All students in the program also earn business credits toward their college future.
