INDIANAPOLIS — Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center announced on Wednesday that it is opening six new locations in Arizona, Georgia, and Indiana.

The Indianapolis-based state-of-the-art autism center is one of the biggest such providers in the United States. It now serves a total of five states — Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. By 2021 Hopebridge will also have centers in Colorado and Minnesota.

The new Hopebridge location serving Hoosiers will be opening in Plainfield at 160 Plainfield Village Drive, Suite 101, 46168.

Hopebridge said in a release that by adding these new centers it helps to serve children and families impacted by autism more closely.

"Our key focus is to provide support and essential therapy services to as many children with autism spectrum disorder as possible," Dennis May, the CEO of Hopebridge, said. "Many parents are searching for answers and need solutions. By bringing Hopebridge centers to these six new locations, hundreds of families will benefit from faster access to autism therapy services closer to home."

Hopebridge's new facilities will have 20 therapy rooms, rooms designed to integrate school environments, large gyms and playrooms, and ample parent and education training classes.

In ensuring every child can receive one-on-one therapy, Hopebridge is planning to create more than 325 new jobs with this extension. More than 50 are planned for the Plainfield location.

"Identifying delays and challenges earlier in life and intervening during their greatest developmental years is crucial," Kim Strunk, Hopebridge's Chief Clinical Officer, said. "We work with the child and their families to develop the tools needed to continue onto success in school and long-term independence."
