INDIANAPOLIS -- Kroger is hiring.

Spokesperson Eric Halvorson says Kroger is "eager to welcome new members."
Kroger has immediate openings for employees Halvorson describes as " friendly, open-hearted and dedicated people." The positions may be just right for those whose current jobs have been suspended by the coronavirus crisis.
Halvorson says new workers may join the Kroger Pickup Team or they might be cashires. There are also openings at Kroger manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
Candidates can apply at a neighborhood Kroger or submit an application at jobs.kroger.com. Job seekers could be placed within just a matter of days.
