INDIANAPOLIS — On Tuesday Lowe's announced that they will be hosting a hiring fair at all store locations in Indianapolis this week.
The two-day event will take place on Wednesday, March 6 and Saturday, March 9. The store is seeking to hire part-time and seasonal positions for both spring and summer.
The roles include cashiers, lawn and garden associates, stockers, loaders and assemblers of outdoor products.
According to Lowe's Corporate Communications Manager, Megan Lewis, seasonal employees benefit from the following:
- competitive pay
- ten percent employee discount
- flexible hours
- the ability to see their schedule 17 days in advance
- swapping shifts is permitted
According to Lewis, 40 percent of the company's seasonal employees transitioned into permanent pert-time and full-time positions.
