INDIANAPOLIS — Lowe's is on a hiring blitz.

The home improvement company, which is looking to hire 600 people, held a Walk-in Wednesday job fair, which meant interviews at any local store for anyone who walked in and requested one.

A man who worked his way up within the company said his career path can be anyone's.

"Very, very big company," assistant store manager Will Gibbs said. "We are constantly growing and constantly changing and with that comes opportunities for others to move up. Like I said before, you come in, you work hard, you have opportunity to contribute to a great company and help your community at the same time, so it's very, very rewarding."

If you didn't make it to the job fair Wednesday, there may be other Walk-in Wednesdays or you can also go to the Lowe's website. The jobs are permanent full and part-time positions, not seasonal.
