TERRE HAUTE – Students with Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will participate in the university’s first-ever virtual career fair Wednesday.
More than 110 companies and graduate schools will participate in the virtual career fair, which was originally scheduled to take place on campus.
Some of the employers participating in Rose-Hulman’s virtual recruiting event include:
- Milwaukee Tool
- GE Appliances
- Honeywell
- North American Stainless
- Raytheon Technologies
- U.S. Food & Drug Administration and Ultra Services
The students will create a profile and upload their resume. They will then have chats with recruiters, which could lead to Skype or Zoom interviews.
“Our students are very comfortable working in an online environment,” said Scott Tieken, Rose-Hulman’s director of career services and employer relations. “We’ve entered a whole new virtual world in career services. Employers and graduate schools are right there with us. Everyone is understanding of the situation during these circumstances.”
