INDIANAPOLIS — Walmart hopes free college prep courses and tuition will entice more people to work there.

Employees will now be able to get degrees in fields ranging from computer science to cyber-security for just $1 a day. High school students who work at Walmart will be able to earn free college credits, plus free SAT and ACT prep through a partner network.

Walmart will also cover the remaining cost of tuition, fees and books.

The move comes as Walmart and other companies struggle to find talent in a tight job market.
