GREENWOOD — The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate a 13-year-old girl who has been missing since June 20.
Valentina Lacava was reported missing around 1 a.m. Friday morning. Investigators believe she may be a runaway.
Lacava is described as being 5 feet 1 inches tall and around 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
She was wearing dark jeans and a zip-up sweatshirt, possibly a hoodie, along with black sneakers when she went missing.
A Greenwood man reported seeing a girl matching Lacava's description get into an old, dirty, two-door Honda Civic with damage to the front bumper near the intersection of Watson Road and Possum Hollow Road around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. This is the same area that Lacava was reported missing from.
