MUNCIE—"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

50 years ago this Saturday, Neil Armstrong sent that message back to earth as he set foot on the lunar surface.

Ball State University marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing on Saturday with a special show at the Brown Planetarium on the Muncie campus.

The programs are at 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., there is no admission charge and the show is recommended for all ages 8 and above. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

"Destination Mars: The New Frontier," looks at the future of human space flight while looking back at the Apollo moon missions.
